The AUB Redi Money Card is a re-loadable, re-usable, PIN-based card which can be used to withdraw cash, transfer funds, pay bills or pay for goods and services
2. What can the AUB Redi Money Card do?
The AUB Redi Money Card may serve as an alternative to a regular payroll ATM account or to credit proceeds of a salary loan. It is also one of the many ways that an Overseas Filipino Workers’ beneficiaries can receive their money from abroad.
Cardholders can withdraw cash from any AUB or BancNet/Megalink ATM, transfer funds or pay for bills using any AUB and Bancnet ATM and pay for goods and services at BancNet accredited merchant stores.
3. Who can get an AUB Redi Money Card?
The AUB Redi Money Card is available to all AUB Payroll clients, Remittance beneficiaries and OFWs and AUB Salary Loan borrowers.
For payroll and salary loan purposes, employees need to fill-out an AUB Redi Money Card application form and submit the said application form together with 2 valid IDs to the AUB account officer for registration. Upon registration, the AUB Redi Money Cardwill be activated.
For OFW Remittance purposes, remitters can avail of an AUB Redi Money Card from AUB Remittance Marketing Representatives stationed in strategic locations worldwide. Remitters are asked to fill out an application form and submit a photocopy of 2 valid IDs before the card is activated. Remitters can also avail of the AUB Redi Money Card for their beneficiaries. The beneficiaries can pick up the card from AUB Branches or AUB Pick-up Centers or it can be delivered to them directly upon request of the remitter.
4. How will Remittance beneficiaries know that the Remitter abroad availed of an AUB Redi Money Card for their remittances?
AUB Remittance Redi Money Card section will send an SMS alert to the remitter’s beneficiary to inform him/her that the remitter has applied an AUB Redi Money Card and that the card can be picked up from the AUB remittance pick-up center specified by the remitter.
The AUB Redi Money Card is already activated upon pick-up with zero “0” balance.
5. Can someone else pick-up the AUB Redi Money Card in behalf of the beneficiary indicated by the Remitter?
No. The intended beneficiary must personally claim the AUB Redi Money Card at any AUB Branch or AUB Pick-up Centers.
The card beneficiary is required to bring 2 valid IDs.
6. How will Remittance beneficiaries know that their AUB Redi Money Card has been credited?
The beneficiaries will be advised via an SMS notice sent by the AUB Remittance Redi Money Card section.
7. How much is an AUB Redi Money Card?
The AUB Redi Money Card is free of charge.
8. When will the AUB Redi Money Card be activated?
The AUB Redi Money Card will be activated as soon as the application form and valid IDs submitted to the Branch or to the AUB Remittance Redi Money Card section for registration have been encoded.
9. How can money be loaded in the AUB Redi Money Card?
For Payroll accounts, the current or savings account maintained by the company shall be debited by AUB and the corresponding employee payroll shall be credited to the employees’ AUB Redi Money Card upon uploading of the payroll diskette submitted by the company to the AUB Branch.
For Remittance accounts, remitters can go to the nearest AUB Tie-up abroad and remit to the AUB Redi Money Card. The remitter should indicate the AUB Redi Money Card number to be credited.
Other means of loading an AUB Redi Money Card are: a.) Inter -Account Fund Transfer (IAFT), done at any AUB branch or at any AUB ATMs. This is the transfer of funds from one AUB account (Current, Savings or AUB Redi Money Card) to another; b.) Inter-Bank Fund Transfer or IBFT, this is limited to BancNet member banks only. This is done through the ATM using the Funds Transfer Facility and c.) Internet banking using the Multi Channel Payment Gateway System of BancNet, limited to BancNet member banks too.
10. Can cash be loaded to and withdrawn from the AUB Redi Money Card using the bank’s branch tellers?
No. Loading and withdrawing cash through the branch tellers are not allowed. Only electronic transactions are accepted, meaning via ATM, online banking, point-of-sale (POS) and inter- and intra-bank electronic fund transfers.
11. How much can be withdrawn from the AUB Redi Money Card?
The cardholder can withdraw as much as PhP10,000.00 per transaction and PhP40,000.00 per day using an AUB ATM. On the other hand, if the cardholder uses a BancNet or Megalink ATM, maximum withdrawal per transaction is PhP4,000.00 and the maximum per day is still PhP40,000.00.
12. What if the AUB Redi Money Card is lost or stolen?
Cardholders should immediately call AUB’s ATM Center at 637-96-09 during office hours (8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.) and 636-61-03 after office hours and holidays to report a lost or stolen card.
Cardholders may also go to the nearest AUB branch to have the lost or stolen AUB Redi Money Card replaced. A card replacement fee of PhP 50.00 shall be charged. A notarized Affidavit of Loss and valid identification documents must be presented.
If the registered applicant is not available to report a lost/stolen card (i.e. remitters who availed of a card abroad), the representative should present to the branch a duly signed authorization letter from the registered applicant and a photocopy of his IDs as well as 2 valid IDs of the representative.
13. What if the ATM captures the AUB Redi Money Card?
Should an ATM capture the AUB Redi Money Card, cardholders are advised to immediately call AUB’s ATM Center at 637-96-09 during office hours (8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.) and 636-61-03 after office hours and holidays to have the card blocked.
Cardholders can get a replacement card from the nearest AUB branch.
14. Is it safe to keep money in the AUB Redi Money Card?
Yes. All AUB Redi Money Cardholders will get a unique computer-generated Personal Identification Number (PIN). This is included in the AUB Redi Money Card Kit.
Cardholders, however, are advised to change the computer-generated PIN using any AUB ATM.
15. What are the contents of the AUB Redi Money Card Kit?
The AUB Redi Money Card Kit contains the following: a.) AUB Redi Money Card; b.) AUB Redi Money Card Application Form; c.) AUB Redi Money Card Terms and Conditions; d.) AUB Redi Money PIN-mailer.
16. Will the money in the AUB Redi Money Card earn interest?
No. The money in the AUB Redi Money Cardwill not earn interest as it is not considered a deposit account.
17. Is it covered by the Philippine Deposit Insurance Company?
No. The Philippine Deposit Insurance Company does not cover the money in the AUB Redi Money Card.
18. What happens when the cardholder does not use the AUB Redi Money Card?
The money in the AUB Redi Money Card will not be forfeited if it is not used for some time. However, the bank shall charge an inactivity fee of PhP 50.00 per month if the card is not used for one year.
Before charging the fee, the Bank shall duly notify the cardholder of the impending inactivity fee 60 days prior to its implementation via registered mail to the cardholder’s last known address. Should the cardholder fail to manifest or register any objections within 30 days from receipt of the written notice, such failure of action would constitute the cardholder’s acceptance of the imposition of the corresponding inactivity fee.
19. Does the AUB Redi Money Card have an expiration date?
The AUB Redi Money Card does not have an expiration date. It will automatically be closed if it is not used for one year and the value of the card reaches zero (0).
